The Wavy Buddies emerged from experiences where I had a lot of fun playing with illusion and the natural flow of emotions, embracing their highs and lows, in a more abstract and less figurative way. I love the process of sculpting softness — capturing movement, defying the static. There’s a delightful contradiction in creating a sculpture that feels hard to the touch but appears soft and flowing to the eye.
